Gauthier Vineyard offers a country vineyard and winery wedding venue where you can tailor your special day around a week-end of access, beginning as early as noon on Friday and ending as late as noon on Sunday. Located near Richmond and Williamsburg, Virginia, the Winery Event Center and the Winery’s Inn make it the perfect venue for your special day.
In order to ensure your winery wedding will be an event to remember, we have chosen to host only one wedding at our vineyard per week-end during the months of April through June and during the months of September and October. And, our Event Center includes a dedicated bridal preparation room for the bride and her maids.
Details
We have found that providing our wedding clients with ample time for set-up and break-down at our Event Center greatly enhances the experience. Venue access during set-up and breakdown is limited to the wedding party and their hired service providers. Set-up does not include the Rehearsal Dinner, which is a separate venue charge. Wedding guests are allowed on the property from noon until 10:00 PM on Saturday.
Our Winery’s Event Center is sized for weddings up to 125 guests. Our caterer, Custom Culinary Connections (https://www.ccc2go.com) has a wide array of spectacular offerings ranging from sumptuous buffets to epicurean plated dinners available for your vineyard wedding. They have extensive experience delighting clients at Gauthier Vineyard.
The Wine Library
The Vineyard’s Wine Library, located downstairs in our winery’s tasting room, offers a convenient venue for rehearsal dinners for up to 12 guests dining on our wood-fired pizzas or a catered dinner. In the months of April-June, you can reserve a catered rehearsal dinner for up to 24 guests in our wine cave below the Winery Event Center.
The Inn
Our Inn (https://theinnatwoodmontplantation.com/) is on the property and has proven to be very convenient for the bridal party (up to ten guests). We do not offer weddings at the Inn.
Planning and Tours
To help you plan your winery wedding, we are accepting appointments (703-622-1107) for tours of the Vineyard Wine Library, the Winery Event Center and the Inn. Pricing and availability for your vineyard wedding will be discussed during the tour. We have prepared a wedding budget planning tool (Excel spreadsheet) we will share upon request (Mo@Gauthiervineyard.com). We are happy to assist you with navigating this planner as needed. It is important that we understand your expectations to assist you in tailoring the perfect event to meet them.
Pricing
The Gauthier Vineyard cost elements of your wedding include the rental of the venue(s), the cost of purchased wine, and the accommodations at the Inn, if desired. The cost of the wedding venue, your wine for 100 guests and two nights at the Inn is $7,500. You will work directly with the caterer, Custom Culinary Connections, for food service and furniture rental costs. We can recommend DJs, photographers, florists, etc., but those selections and associated costs are yours.
