Guided Wine Tastings
Join us at the wine bar for a fun, immersive wine tasting experience available daily without reservations. Let one of our passionate wine educators pour you a tasting of 10 pre-selected wines, giving you and your group a great sense of the Gauthier wine quality and style.
Cost: $16 per person + tax and gratuity.
Wine Flights
Taste at your own pace! Browse and choose from our pre-selected Red, White, Mixed or Sweet flight menus below. This is a great way to enjoy larger (2 oz.) pours of wines that fit your taste profile. Build-your-own flights are also available on select days at the tasting room’s discretion.

Fire Pit
Cozy up by the fire overlooking the pond for a wine tasting experience unlike any other in our area. Our oversized firepit and patio is 21+ and can accommodate 12 guests. Our staff is happy to light it for you.
This is a first, come, first serve space.
Friday and Saturday Night Pizza & Wine
Nothing celebrates the weekend quite like gathering family and friends and savoring quality time together with a bottle of wine and a delicious, handcrafted pizza here at Gauthier. Join us on Fridays 4-8pm with pizza served from 4-7pm, Saturdays from 11am-6pm with pizza served from 12-5pm, and on the second, fourth and fifth Sundays of the month starting at noon.
Oyster Sundays
A true merroir to terroir experience – Virginia oyster events and Virginia wine! End the week on a delicious note when one of our featured oyster growing partners serves up their world-class oysters here at Gauthier on the first and third Sundays of the month starting at noon. Gauthier Vineyard is a proud member of the Virginia Oyster Trail.
Overnight Accommodations
Welcome to the Inn at Woodmont Plantation. Just a short walk from the Tasting Room, this quaint country inn is the perfect respite for a Wine Country getaway.
Policies
PETS
We are dog friendly. Your well-behaved, leashed pup is welcome outside on our wraparound porch, on the observation deck by the pizza oven and on our patios. We have ample outdoor lawn space where you can walk your pet. We ask that you clean up after them. Dogs are not permitted in the tasting room.
CHILDREN
Guests under the age of 21 are not permitted in the tasting room, including infants. We do allow children on the premises. They must remain in your company within arm’s reach throughout your visit. Guests under the age of 21 are not permitted at the firepit due to safety concerns.
LARGE GROUPS
No buses, shuttles, or limousines without prior reservations. If your group has 7 or more guests, you must make advance arrangements at least 48 hours in advance by emailing brenda@gauthiervineyard.com or beverly@gauthiervineyard.com or by calling the Tasting Room at 757-350-3125.
